Many Sat Nav devices will come with the ability to link into your mobile through Bluetooth and offer hands free calling modes and the ability for your Sat Nav to use your phone to download information on traffic delays, speed cameras and road works along your route.

Devices can range from built in systems that usually come pre installed in your car, stand alone products that will usually take their power supply from the cigarette lighter in your car and mount on your dashboard or with a suction cup onto your windscreen, or Sat Nav systems built into your mobile phone or PDA.
