Parrot MKi9000

The Parrot MKi9000 has a host of features that should allow your Bluetooth mobile phone to work hands-free in your car as well as providing music streaming services and iPhone compatibility.
There is no screen with the MKi9000, and all operations are either controlled by voice, or from the wireless remote that can fix to the steering wheel or dashboard. From the remote you can pick up a call, hang up and handle dual calls. The Parrot MKi9000 with automatically synchronise the contacts on your mobile (up to 2000 per phone) and has built in speech recognition that does not require user training. There is also speech synthesis that will announce the name of a caller, provided they are already in your phonebook.
There is a dual microphone for added clarity, and the usual voice enhancements that Parrot have pioneered.
The music player features allows your mobile or iPod to stream music. With an iPod or iPhone, you need to use the iPod connector cable, but you can then listen to your music through the car speakers. Some mobiles will connect over Bluetooth, but you should check compatibility as Parrot acknowledge that not all functions are fully supported on all mobiles and there are some issues with streaming restarting after a call, but again, only with some devices.
The Parrot MKi9000 kit does need fully installing into the car wiring system, and although full details are given in the documentation, if you are not technically minded, you may want to look to get it professionally installed.
